Oktober 2026 wurde die Feuerwehr Eddelak um 09:31 Uhr zu einem Schiffsnotfall auf dem Nord-Ostsee-Kanal alarmiert. N\u00f6rdlich von Kudensee befand sich eine Segelyacht mit zwei Personen an Bord. Der Kapit\u00e4n ben\u00f6tigte medizinische Hilfe, w\u00e4hrend die zweite Person das Boot nur bedingt steuern konnte. Die Feuerwehr Eddelak r\u00fcckte mit 16 Einsatzkr\u00e4ften aus.<\/p>\n<p>Auf Weisung der Leitstelle besetzte die Feuerwehr Eddelak die F\u00e4hre in Ostermoor. Zeitgleich besetzte die Feuerwehr Averlak die F\u00e4hre Kudensee und die Feuerwehr Brunsb\u00fcttel brachte ihr Feuerwehrboot zu Wasser. Mit einem Hilfeleistungsl\u00f6schgruppenfahrzeug, einem Rettungswagen und einem Notarzteinsatzfahrzeug wurde die F\u00e4hre zur Segelyacht gebracht.<\/p>\n<p>Vor Ort legte die F\u00e4hre l\u00e4ngsseits an der Segelyacht an. So konnte der Kapit\u00e4n sicher auf die F\u00e4hre \u00fcbergesetzt und anschlie\u00dfend dem Rettungsdienst zur weiteren medizinischen Versorgung \u00fcbergeben werden. Im Anschluss wurde die Segelyacht zu einem Anleger gebracht und dort der Polizei \u00fcbergeben.
