Dennoch zeigen Statistiken, dass sie immer wieder vorkommen. In einer derartigen Notsituation muss schnell gehandelt werden. Ein sogenannter Rettungstrupp begibt sich auf die Suche nach dem\/der Verungl\u00fcckten. Erfahrungen zeigen allerdings, dass ein einzelner Trupp nicht immer ausreicht, um die Rettung erfolgreich durchzuf\u00fchren. Im Kreis Dithmarschen gibt es nun eine Atemschutz-Notfall-Trainierte-Staffel (A.N.T.S.), die auf diese F\u00e4lle spezialisiert ist. Au\u00dferdem werden die einzelnen Feuerwehren im Umgang mit Atemschutznotf\u00e4llen im Rahmen des Atemschutz-Notfall-Trainings (A.N.T.) geschult.
